Hello All!

Recently, a Team Leader in my team has opened his heart to me in frustration of not having success in getting response from his members. 

This is a very common issue and had been the subject of many threads and discussions, yet there seems to be no magic words that can be used to elicit response from our shy members. 

What to do when no one responds? I found the answer from one of my old files on training when I was new, which has given me guidance on how to handle this common yet pesky problem.

The answer is not to focus on why you feel frustrated because you are not getting a response but focus on what you can do and show your team. We have to remember that SFI is a business and not everyone will respond.

Let's try this:-

1. Show them. Let's do the best we can at all times and set a positive example of what can be achieved in SFI. Our success will set the example and will show our team they can do it too. Our team looks at us and checks our results.

2. Tell them in a different way each time we communicate. People have different ways of receiving and processing information than we think they will. Let's find different ways of presenting information which allows them to learn, understand, and digest it at their own pace and in their own way. Providing tips, sharing best business practices, writing short emails discussing only one subject, doing a Q&A email on one topic, and providing links to resource information or directing them to the Forum are some of the ways we can utilise.

3. Let them know we care. Keep in mind that "people don't know you care until they see that you care". Let's find ways to relate on a personal level by sharing our business building struggles and how we overcame them by giving simple and practical tips. Hopefully, they will use our tips to succeed.

4. Lets communicate to everyone. Today's "sleeper" could become tomorrow's "Diamond"- so let's communicate to everyone equally- no discrimination!

5. Lets always end our communication with an open invitation for them to contact us if they need help or further assistance and guidance.

6. Lets not take it personally if they do not respond. Everyone is busy and life has a habit of getting in the way, who knows? Lets just stay consistent in our communication and encouragement and those whose dreams are still alive and burning will someday respond.

So let's keep moving! We don't have an eternity to worry about things that we don't have control over. We've done our best.

Dear Team,
Last month I have lost my net amount and commision value also very low. Ok, I understood SFI introduced the new plans. But, what is the benefit for us? Because previously we have received the TripleClicks Executive Pool, but now it was removed by SFI as the immediate effect. 

So, why we want to keep our Standing Order for 1500 VP? No use and moreover from our purchases we are not getting anything as commission only our Upline and remaining balance for SFI. 

What is the use here? Anyone and experts in SFI please clarify me.

I was looking at some profile photos in growth and a2a. And I was shocked at what I was seeing.

With so many sign-ups never even posting a profile photo, there were also many who posted non-professional profile photos.

Yes, we have the great freedom to wear what we want when we do the computer part of this business, but our public part should be very professional. Remember, our prospects know nothing about SFI. It is what they think about you that determines if they will sign-up.

Let's look at some of those photos. Yes, casual is nice at times, but it may convey that you are too relaxed. T-shirts with other advertising or messages are not wise choices. What message do you want to send out to prospects.

Spouses and babies or pets send messages to specific groups of people, but can signal that you have pre-occupations. Ones with spouses can be particularly confusing because you can not tell who is the sponsor just by looking.

Selfies are rarely good professional photos. The angles are wrong, the background often cluttered, and the lighting all wrong. Watch where the shadows fall. Especially for those with darker skin, it is important to find the right placement of the light to the face so facial features will show, 

How about the eyes? Where are they looking? They should be open and looking at the camera. The eyes are the gateway to the soul, so they say. People like a direct look, otherwise they think you are hiding something.

Your facial expression does much. There are some photos with scowls that can be frightening. Lighten up smile so wide it reaches your eyes. Look like you are pleasant to be around. If you zoom in and have your face extend to the edges it looks like you are coming out of the photo, getting in my face. Back off.

But not so much that you show your whole body, your face is too small then. Show some of your body in your photo. Not a lot, but shoulders. It helps position your face in the area provided. 

Show your current identity, your current age. We had a recent Forum thread started by someone who looked fresh out of school. The posts answered to a young person. It was revealed that the poster was decades older. Our answers for her question would have been different. If we want an honest relationship with our downline, we must honestly reveal our self.

You will have opportunities to show off our family and pets later. But the profile pic for your business should reflect your capability and seriousness you give to the business and your affiliates. Your media profiles can be more relaxed.

How long it takes to earn on SFI?

I don't want you to get me wrong but most people are not immediately ready to own a business, especially not an online business.

Even if you have done your research, have your business license, have a space to work distraction free, have learned to set up a website or blog, and even selected a first program you still don't have a clue about the most missed ingredient. That ingredient is the most missed part of the recipe both online and in a brick and mortar business.

Fact is you go into business more often than not expecting an immediate change in your income and lifestyle and less work than that JOB for a lot more money. Yep 97% of you just had a hard lump to swallow in the back of your throat.

It's human nature to want instant gratification.

If we are hungry we eat, tired we sleep, cold we seek shelter. We are creatures of comfort choosing the best things our income can supply and constantly seeking more income and better things. Especially if you are like me and have been homeless at some point in your life.

But a business doesn't offer that no matter what the Hype sellers say.

A business is real work, a lot of it and a lot of time. It's not 30 minutes a day, it's not 3-4 hours a week if you want $3,000 a month or more it is a commitment of every bit of time you can give your business without losing touch with why you started it or making yourself sick.

If you start an offline business you are looking at tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars to invest, maybe even a debt to get started as most people do not have their start up money up front. In an online business you should expect to invest time and money even if the program is free because the less money you have the longer it will take to make a profit.

How long to be profitable?

It can 2-3 years for most with money invested, and 2-5years without cash investment. That's a profit, not necessarily that $3,000+ a month income you need to fire the boss or the $6,000 a month you need to live the lifestyle you want and send the kids to college etc..

Worse yet, people tend to not think of an online business as being a real business so they fail. They don't think of their business as a store but instead as a product in a store so they replace it with different products if sales don't start right away so they are program hopping. 

When you program hop however you are not just changing the product you are selling but also the link at which you are selling products. hen you change programs all the time you change your place of business, all the old ads point to somewhere you can no longer be found, and potential team members may not be aware of your new location and may worse yet not like the offer as much as the one they followed you for.

So you need staying power, work ethic, and vision to succeed.

I have an ECA and it was yesterday's Featured ECA. This is a powerful tool/opportunity for any vendor. You get a huge amount of exposure for your store. Any retailer would love it.

In SFI you can recruit sellers and you get a commission on everything they sell. If you have not recruited any new merchants (ECAs) to the TripleClicks shopping portal you really should. It is a fabulous means of passive income.

I always share about the TC/ECA opportunity when I travel. When I was last in Nepal I visited several stores just as part of the tourist routine. I collected business cards and then send an email explaining the E-commerce opportunity on TripleClicks.
