I would like to share a powerful blog that I read this morning that speaks directly to the Marketing Mindset. You can see the blog Here by Jennifer Ledbetter.

"We’ve all read the sales pages claiming that all we affiliate marketers have to do is churn out some sort of online content each day and we’ll get rich. Plus, we can do it in our pajamas for just a few hours a day, leaving us endless free time to enjoy life.

Heck, those pages say it’s so easy a two-year-old can do it, don’t they?

So, with that in mind, why do so many claim that affiliate marketing is hard? What makes it so difficult?

If we take the over-hyped sales pages out of the equation and bring this back to reality, most of us know that starting any new business requires much more than just showing up for a few hours and doing a couple tasks to be successful.

On the other hand, when we work for someone else to help build their business, many times just showing up is enough to get that weekly check.

Adopting The Business-Owner Mindset

There isn’t a risk when you work for someone else. Well, wait, there is one risk — the risk of losing that job. But, the overall success of that business is not on the shoulders of the employees, is it?

With affiliate marketing, our bank balance depends on the results of our actions each day. Just showing up is not enough — it is all on our shoulders.

I talk a lot about mindset. Not really from a “think it and you will achieve it” mindset, but more from an employee-mindset vs. a business-owner mindset.

So many of us are raised to get a good job and enjoy the security from someone else deciding what we’re worth each week via the number on our paycheck.

That feels safe and easy in a way, doesn’t it? Show up, get paid. Do well, get a raise.

Overcoming The Employee Mentality We Were Brought Up To Expect

But, how many of us were raised to get out there, start a business, and be 100% accountable for the bottom line?

I can tell you that I sure wasn’t raised that way. The idea of doing something so risky… so crazy… was not even a consideration.

That is why I personally found affiliate marketing to be difficult — the mindset shift. Getting things straight in my mind was very challenging for me, especially when I first started out.

Well-meaning friends and family would ask things like, “You’ve been doing this online thing for a weeks now, so why can’t you pay your bills with it yet?”

Ugh!

When you are stuck in employee-mindset mode, those types of questions are horrible and defeating… and it’s hard to handle that. Those questions lead to feelings of (dare I say it) failure and are very de-motivational. In fact, I know plenty of people who have quit affiliate marketing because they were not living up to the expectations of those around them who spoke from an employee-mindset.

Once I started reading and learning from those that lived outside the employee-mindset, things got tremendously easier for me. Sure, the learning curve is challenging and the changes online fly at me each day at an amazing rate, but that is not the hard part.

The hard part, for me, was learning to change my mindset to accept that this is what it’s like to be a business owner. That change in mindset was freeing… empowering even… and things suddenly became much easier."

3 Reasons to Add Silver to your portfolio

The surge in precious metal prices earlier this year has clearly caught the attention of investors. Silver ETFs and miners have all enjoyed a spectacular rally in recent months. Even with silver now trading at prices not seen since late 2014, there are a number of important indicators that the lustrous white metal has further to rally, making now the time to add some silver to investment portfolios.

Now what?

Firstly, demand for silver is significantly outstripping supply.

According to the Silver Institute, this has created a supply deficit of 112 million ounces during 2015, which was the third straight year where a supply deficit occurred. The Institute believes that another supply deficit of silver will occur again in 2016.

These deficits can be attributed to the growing demand for silver, particularly the explosion in demand for silver jewelry, coins, and bars, coupled with a lack of investment in exploration and mine development.

Supply constraints will help to backstop silver prices at their current levels.

Secondly, the industrial demand for silver continues to expand.

Silver, because of its properties as the most electrically conductive metal, has become a key material used in the fabrication of a range of electronic components. These include flexible touch screens, LEDs, and interposers for stacking semi-conductors, all of which are vital parts used in the manufacture of a range of electronic devices, such as laptops and smartphones, that are in high demand.

Then there is silver’s role in the fabrication of the photovoltaic cells, which form the solar arrays that are used to generate electricity. Solar has become one of the most popular means of generating renewable electricity, and there continues to be considerable investment in the industry because a number of governments globally have established aggressive solar energy targets.

In fact, analysts estimate that global installed solar capacity will almost triple to 756 gigawatts by 2025. It is estimated that 2.8 million ounces of silver is required to construct sufficient photovoltaic cells to generate one gigawatt electricity, and this expansion in global solar capacity will require 1.4 billion ounces of silver.

More importantly, unlike other forms of industrial demand, silver demand in solar power is resistant to downturns in the economic cycle because of the growing pressures to combat climate change.

Finally, economic uncertainty is creating considerable demand for safe-haven assets.

Like gold, Silver’s primary value is as a safe-haven asset. This means that it will retain its value or even appreciate during times of economic uncertainty and turbulence. This characteristic makes it a useful hedge against the market volatility that economic and geopolitical uncertainty creates.

The growing demand for silver has triggered massive inflows into silver ETFs, which has caused the largest, iShares Silver Trust ETF (NYSE:SLV), to gain 41% for the year to date.

So what?

According to a range of analysts, silver is now in the midst of a new bull market, which means that higher prices are certainly here to stay for the foreseeable future. Importantly, each of the factors discussed will not only support higher silver prices but help to propel the lustrous white metal ever higher. This will be a boon for silver miners.

One of the best low-risk means of gaining leveraged exposure to silver is with precious metals streamer Silver Wheaton Corp. (TSX:SLW)(NYSE:SLW). As a streamer, it doesn’t operate mines and is not exposed to exploration and operational risk. This also means it has significantly lower expenses than silver miners, which will see its margins and profitability grow at a far greater rate than silver miners.

Hi SFI Family!

This time of year people are going on vacation and are driving everywhere. When they are relaxed and in a great mood, you want them to see your signs. Car magnets are a great way to get the word out.

If you purchase a car magnet to advertise SFI or Tripleclicks, get a domain name to advertise your site and try to make it something easy for people to remember and that will catch their attention like "awesomehomebiz.com" etc. Make your car magnet work for you. Be imaginetive and make it something that will intrigue people enough that they will go home and type it in to find out what it is.

All you have to do is drive around town to see how many people are out and about that will see your sign.

Business of Failure !

No one likes to fail. We all strive to be perfect at whatever we do. 

However, in terms of network marketing, failure is a real and normal part of this business.

In some sports, there are examples of where "failure" is not only the norm, but accepted.

The most obvious one is Amercian baseball. Hitters, or batters, try to hit the ball safely to get on base. The best of the best do it 30% - 40% of the time. Most of the time, the average is 20% - 30%. And they are considered successful!

If only we could be that successful in SFI, we would all be rich!

But network marketing is notoriously "failure" oriented, in that most signups do nothing. 

So why do we get involved, and keep on getting rejected day after day? Seems kind of crazy, right?

Because, if each one of us can somehow find 5, and only 5, people to follow us and believe, and they do the same thing, we can earn more money here than in any job you will ever have, and probably any other business you might have. Especially when you consider the residual income aspect of earning income over time by doing less and less work because your network is running smoothly.

In order to find those 5, we are going to have "fail" over and over again. That means referring people day in and day out; month in and month out; year in and year out. That is our job - to refer people to SFI. Non stop, in whatever way we choose.

There is really no right or wrong way. There is really no better or worse way. What ever works for you is what you should do. If that means following someone else...then do it.

If you fail 9995 times out of 10,000, those 5 that didn't fail could be Gold, Platinum or even Diamond. But at worst, all they need to be is Bronze. The rest can take care of itself.

So, if you fail 99,995 out of 100,000, those 5 that didn't fail could be Gold, Platinum or even Diamond. But at worst, all they need to be is Bronze. The rest can take care of itself.

And so on. Keep recruiting. You will keep failing. BUT, you have them on a list, within SFI, that you can keep emailing the good news about SFI to them every week, or every other week, or every month. It takes 5 minutes of your time to send those emails. It's called marketing, and SFI provides you with all the tools.

Keep on failing until you succeed......then just keep on failing some more. Because in the end, your mission is to help people become financially independant, and you should never stop trying to help.

Failure in order to succeed...what a concept!

AUCTION TCREDIT WIN LIMITS: To level the playing 

field and create more winners, win limits on TCredits 

auctions (at both Pricebenders and Astro Auctions) are 

now set at 1 win (of any size TCredits pack) every 15 

days. Previously the limit was 1 win per day. We will also 

be introducing new programming which will prohibit 

circumventing the rule by entering multiple auctions 

simultaneously. We look forward to seeing hundreds of 

new winners in the weeks ahead!

each month for the previous month's earnings (for 

example, January's commissions are paid out in 

February). Also, a report is typically posted to your 

account on the 10th of each month (or the closest 

following business day, if the 10th falls on a weekend or 

holiday).

Mailed checks are sent out by first-class U.S. mail on 

the 15th of each month (or the closest following business

day, if the 15th falls on a weekend or holiday). If you've 

chosen to be paid by ACH direct deposit, Paypal, or 

TripleClicks MasterCard from Payoneer, your 

commissions will typically be transferred to your account 

between the 15th and 20th of the month, and the amount 

reflected in your account within two to four business 

days of the funds transfer date.
