More than viewing the communication with your down line in terms of numbers, it would do the up line a world of good if a short, brief, introductory message in an easy to understand language to them will do a world of good and will augur well for the future.
All the new affiliates will receive at least more than 30 communication from SFI Corporate in their first 30 days and all of them will welcome, guide and take them to specific areas of this Business; Reading and understand them and moving on to the subject they refer to will itself prove to be a tough task in their initial days.
If you visit the Ask SC area and search for questions related to this subject, you will find lot of them with varied answers and most of them will caution the up line not to send too many mails often to their down lines.
Finally, based on my personal experience and the knowledge I gained (still doing) by reading many training articles as well as the explanations given by our Founder Gery, I can suggest the following:
1. A short and brief Welcome Message (be it an E-Card or a Mail) in which you can :
- Welcome the new affiliates;
- Introduce yourself;
- Express of joy of having them in your Team;
- Pledging your support for their continued growth & above all
- Requesting them how can you help them so that they can get started at once or what can you do so that they can
move forward without any hitch in their business;
2. The sooner you are able to establish a good two way communication it will be good.
3. Till such time it happens, please do not bombard them with frequent messages.
4. Instead use the STREAM to post short pointed messages or links to details;
5. Occasional E-Cards to individual affiliates based on the ground realities will help a lot;
6. Please continue to focus on how to build a healthy relationship through your initial communications which should
transform in to a strong business partnership in future.
This way, they will succeed; and naturally, you too will succeed!!
