Straight from Gery

Hi folks,

Today we processed commissions for the first time with the upgrades announced to the compensation plan on June 1, 2018.

For many of you, the changes created a net gain.  For some of you, a net loss. 

For those in the second camp especially, I'd like to make a few comments and provide some guidance...

1. Like any change we make, we do so to make SFI better overall.  Some changes, however, don't show up overnight, they take a few weeks or a few months. The fact is, with the new Smart Start program boosting upgrades and Auto-Delivery orders significantly for new affiliates, SFI activity levels are on the upswing. And there are of course more great things in the works. So for those of you who keep pushing forward, I have every expectation that you will not only quickly overcome any current net loss, but push forward into new, record income levels.

2. Astro Auctions alone seem to be a HUGE hit.  The testimonials we're receiving are off the charts with enthusiasm and excitement for our new auction model!  So, not surprisingly, revenues took a big jump up yesterday and so there's likely a LOT of money to be made with Astro in the months ahead.  

Tip: Make sure you're getting fully up to speed on Astro now and get your group fully up to speed too to fully take advantage of this new opportunity.  P.S. Our upcoming Astro gateway will likely be our biggest, best, easiest sales generator ever.  Stay tuned for the announcement on this!

3. If your commissions went down, let's talk about how you can reverse that.

A. When we look at the accounts for those who had a decrease, the most common link we see is not a lot of depth.  That is, many of you have built width (lots of first generation people), but not placed a lot of people on lower generations.  Fortunately, this can be fixed very quickly by simply reassigning some of those people under your best PSAs.  This will of course strengthen your organization and help cement Leveraged Income for you.

And let's be very clear:  With 48% now allocated to Team Overrides, the big money is in building a nice deep group.  I recommend that everyone consider the guidance of The PLAN ( uhttps://www.sfimg.com/the_plan) here.

B. Understand how "breakage" in the Team Overrides work.  Team Overrides pay out 4% to up to 12 compressed generations (48% total).  However, if there is not a maximum number of qualified persons in the line of sponsorship above a sale, everyone who IS qualified in the line shares the full 48%.

Example:  There are three qualified persons above you and only two qualified persons between you and a sale.  So, a total of just six qualified to earn Team Overrides here.  Hence, each of the six (including you of course) would split the 48% (so each would receive 8% of the CV, i.e., DOUBLE the normal 4%!).  This can of course go much higher for you too depending on where you reside within the overall SFI network.  So, even more reasons to go "all in" on building deep.

C. Why, REALLY, did we make the big change in the comp plan?  Why did we put so much into Team Overrides?

We did that for you, our Team Leaders!  The fact is, for years we've struggled to keep many of our best, highest-producing Team Leaders happy with the income they could make with SFI.  Now, with a very large 48% allocated to overrides, the potential earnings for Team Leaders is, well, the sky's the limit now, folks! 

In closing, I ask everyone to not miss the big picture here!  There was, much to my chagrin, a lot of negativity in June spread by people who were unable or refused to try to understand the comp plan changes made and how it would benefit them.  That negativity has been reversed now thanks to Smart Start, Astro Auctions, the new NGRQ Gateway, etc., but it definitely affected sales in June--which is reflected in the new commission payouts.  So while, for SOME, there's been a TEMPORARY step backwards, we are now charging forward again and the future has never been brighter.
