Sponsoring Affiliates

 must-read post

A common issue affecting all sponsors who are really serious about the business of sponsoring affiliates and team building is that most of their downline, PSA's and CSA's alike , do not respond to messages sent via Team Mail, PSA and CSA Mailers. The lack of interaction of the affiliate and the sponsor "seems" to render the effort of that sponsor as useless because of the low response rate (if any).

In my slight experience in the business of sponsoring and mentoring affiliates, I have come across 4 critical factors that one must consider when sponsoring affiliates and attempting to communicate your message to them. I will explain these 4 critical factors in detail in a series of posts so as to not overwhelm our readers.

Once again, there are several (4) critical factors to consider when sponsoring your downline PSA's as well as CSA's.

1). Geographical location and language barrier.

2). Affiliate's initial commitment (PSA's).

3). Personalized sponsoring (according to the specific needs of the affiliate)

4). Personalized "RELATIONSHIPS".

In this post I will explain in detail Critical Factor #1: Geographical location and language barrier.

As you all know, SFI enrolls people from all over the world and all walks of life. When we look at an affiliate's snapshot we must take this critical factor into account. Also, when communicating with our PSA's and CSA's we must consider this critical factor into the equation.

When the affiliate snapshot does not specify a particular language of preference we must make an effort to communicate our message in the primary language of that affiliate's particular country.

E.g., Affiliate "X" is from Serbia. If affiliate "X" has not specified his/her language of preference as English, then we should send out our message in the "serbian" language. We can use translation software to do this.

What ever program we use to translate our message to our affiliate, it will most likely not translate the message perfectly. However, the main objective is the following; the affiliate will notice a sincere effort on the part of the sponsor to communicate his/her message in their language and will be prone to respond to the message based on that sponsor's effort. If that affiliate has specified his/her language of preference, then we should communicate our message in their language of preference. Rather than respond to a message in English, affiliate "X" will be more comfortable responding to a sponsor that takes into consideration their primary language, or language of preference.

So you see, geographical location and language of preference (barrier) is a critical factor to consider when we want to get our messages out to our affiliates and have a greater chance for affiliate interaction and response.

Hence, we will need to translate our messages to our non-english speaking PSA's and CSA's. That is why it takes time, effort, and patience to sponsor and mentor affiliates.

Keep an eye out for a detailed explanation of Critical Factor #2 of 4 in a future post:
Affiliate's Initial Commitment (PSA's).

Best regards and much success to all my fellow SFI colleagues!
